I do this because I need to get down lots of pills every day
I know, water, water everywhere, but which water is best for my needs? My choice is to use water that has been distilled. I’ll tell you why.
I must take many pills each day. A lot means 42-45 pills a day. Obviously, that is a large number. I do not have much choice, but to swallow each and every one of them without getting to sick to take them.
For example, I developed osteoporosis and have had to swallow natural calcium supplements each day
Because of the side effects of some drugs I have been required to use, complications have arisen. I have to take more pills that counteract these prior medical problems. One situation is that I developed osteoporosis and have needed to get down calcium osteoporosis supplements daily.The cause was the very high doses of Prednisone, because of my Crohn’s disease. As a result, I am required to swallow several calcium osteoporosis supplement pills to help with my osteoporosis. This is one reason why I have to swallow so many pills each day. When taking my pills, I often find it very hard because of the taste of the various chemicals in the water that flows out of our pipes.
Maybe it is unavoidable, but this area always has had water with a high chlorine level. I can really smell it. Quality reports come with the water bill that indicate my town’s water has chemicals added for many reasons. These chemicals worry me.
I expect that the water has chemicals, because the water comes from natural places. Nevertheless, I worry a lot about the additives. The water authority services a large population, and they want to make certain that our tap water is potable. With distilled bottled water, I can swallow all my drugs and supplements
One time my brother came to visit me and we talked about water quality. Since he travels a lot, and he said that he travels with distilled and purified water. I asked him why distilled? He told me that it is the water knows is pure. Plus, you can buy distilled water in any market.
I had never thought of that. I had only used distilled water for ironing. Since his visit, I’ve had even more intestinal problems. Due to my health, I now have to swallow more pills. To deal with the nutritional side effects of Crohn’s Disease, I also must take vitamins, including multivitamins and extra vitamin C along with a calcium pyruvate 1000 supplement that are medically prescribed.
Due to my Crohn’s, I am very sensitive to smells that make me throw up. Therefore, it is best for me to drink only distilled water, because I must always get down all my drugs, supplements and vitamins each day.
